I saw some preview photos of this location from Harper’s mom, Brean. She took the photos when the trees were pretty bare and it wasn’t exactly green. But weeks later at our session, it was beautiful. A wooded area & then lots of dreamy open field space with tall weeds. I really enjoyed the chair in the grass, Harper and her toybox out in the middle of a field, a wooden swing hanging from a tree. I love how throughout a session my child clients get to know me & I get to know them, and by the end we’re friends! Harper warmed up to me & towards the end we were holding hands & doing the “crazy Rachael”. Yeah that’s right, I have my own move! I get a little nutty throughout the sessions – loud goofy noises, dancing, you name it. Gotta have fun right! So we coined the move “the crazy Rachael”. You will see that in the last photo ;) Fun is what we had folks! And for any photographers or momma’s reading this, Brean has a super cute shop on Facebook for all things girly – you MUST check her out here. My daughter and I share tons (really, tons) of her Miah Rhodes headbands!

I told him my funny joke. Wanna hear it? “Why is it hard to play poker in the jungle?” “Too many cheetahs.”

All ya gotta do is flop your hands up & down and you’re doing “the crazy Rachael”!! Fun for kids of all ages!

Karly - Beautiful family!
And, way to rock the back lighting, Rachael! These are gorgeous!

I also love your jungle joke…. I’ll definitely be using that to get some good smiles during my sessions :) THANK YOU!
