I have the gift of being home with my child every day. We’re pretty lucky – she is a great little girl. She’s funny and sweet and smart. The whole package if you ask me, but hey. I’m her mom. Sadly, I have been taking more photos of her lately with my smartphone than with my camera! I really need to get a little point and shoot because I don’t love having my pro camera out all the time. If you’re listening Santa…… Anyhow, I got my big camera out for about a half hour with my girl a few days ago. Just watching her eat while she was watching “eh-eh” (Elmo), then watching her do her little song and dance around the living room. This girl loves books. Loves ‘em. And I love that. We recently took her to the library so she could see all kinds of books – she had a blast. So, this post is a bit picture heavy, but like I say – I’m partial, I’m her momma. I love (LOVE) capturing real moments – the way a child really is. You’ll notice she has food all over her mouth. Well, she’s a messy eater. You may notice a black dot next to her right eye – it’s a scab. The girl went a little crazy rubbing her eye the other day! I’m not sure what that was – no, nothing wrong with her eye. She ended up rubbing it too hard. I didn’t photoshop that out – I want to remember that she did that. Goofy girl. I feel very blessed to have whatever God given talent I have at capturing memories to use with my girl. I love looking back at how she’s grown from infant to toddler. It’s bittersweet as all parents know. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy these photos – she is such a fun little peanut. I’m not sure what we ever did without her. We were pretty boring!! ♥
